The Loraine Lab is part of the Bioinformatics Dept. at UNC Charlotte. Our lab and office suite are located in the NC State Building at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis.

Our primary scientific focus is alternative splicing – how it is regulated and how defects in splicing can disrupt biological systems. We also develop visualization software tools for genomics.

If you are interested in joining the lab or would like to learn more about our research, contact lab head Ann Loraine.
