RNA-Seq and genome browser workshop at Plant Biology 2017

Welcome!

We’re holding a hands-on, interactive workshop on RNA-Seq data analysis on June 24th at the 2017 Plant Biology meeting in Honolulu.

Attention workshop attendees:

Everyone must do this:

  1. Bring a laptop computer to the workshop with software already installed & tested. See the PB2017 Canvas course for details.
  2. Do introductory R prep work. Enroll in the PB2017 Canvas course and work through the three Learn R Basics tutorials. To reinforce your knowledge, take the three short Test Yourself quizzes. To enroll, go to: https://canvas.instructure.com/enroll/XNT4YA
  3. Get the workshop zip file. Download and unpack the workshop “zip” file in advance – will be available here by June 10.

June 6 update: The workshop is full with a waiting list of 50+ people. If you don’t have time to do the prep work or maybe just aren’t all that interested in learning R, please consider dropping out and letting some-one else have your seat.

All materials from the workshop will be freely available through the PB2017 Canvas course.
